Kay Vicars joined Dr. Aminian at the Allergy Institute^® in 1998 as a nurse practitioner. She brings over 25 years of clinical expertise in family medicine with a focus on promoting self reliance to patients and families through education and good management of their health problems. Ms. Vicars was pleased to develop a specialty practice with Dr. Aminian in managing allergy and asthma for children and adults. Her skills in assessment and education contribute to provision of quality care for our patients.

Ms. Vicars is a registered nurse with postgraduate education. She completed BSN requirements at East Tennessee State University, MSN at the University of VA, and Family Nurse Practitioner certificate through the Department of Internal Medicine at University of VA. She is board certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed to practice in CA and VA. She is a member of the CA Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Her past professional work has included providing clinical teaching preceptorships with universities in VA and TN.
